Episode Overview
At DAA, Michael and Elliot participate in a tense "war council" regarding Minnesota Brands, a major account they’ve successfully lured to the agency. However, the creative director, Carl Draconis, fails to acknowledge their efforts during the meeting. This prompts Michael to recall a moment from 1968 when he confided to his father about running for vice-president at school, only for his father to question why he wasn’t aiming for the top spot. In the present, Michael devises an ambitious marketing plan for Oh My Pies, a struggling product from Minnesota Brands, but Draconis dismisses it without hesitation. Miles advises Michael to maintain direct communication with Minnesota Brands on the project. Meanwhile, Hope immerses herself further into the anti-incinerator campaign, organizing a significant meeting and securing office space for John Dunaway and his team.
