Episode Overview
Michael is stepping up at DAA, which creates tension with Elliot. Meanwhile, Hope is also tasked with handling the anti-incinerator campaign. Excitement fills the air as Michael and Elliot learn that Miles loved their concepts for the Snap Happy/Oh My account, leading to plans for a commercial aimed at a focus group. In a bold move, Miles publicly reprimands Carl Draconis for dismissing their ideas. The following day, Michael and Elliot are shocked to hear that Draconis has "left" the agency to explore other ventures. Miles then names Michael the creative director for the account, hinting that a successful performance could lead to Carl's former position. Michael takes over Carl's office and his assistant, Page, who he and Elliot had previously dubbed the "dragon lady." Meanwhile, Hope, along with John Dunaway and Ricky Bianca, meets with a congressman to rally support against the incinerator, but they face a lack of encouragement.
