Episode Overview

General Savage finds himself in a dire situation after his bomber is shot down during a raid on the Sub Penn at Trondheim. As the sole survivor of his crew, he ends up adrift in a life raft alongside a Luftwaffe ME-109 pilot, Oberst Dieter, near the Faroe Islands, about 150 miles from Trondheim. Determined not to be captured, Dieter forces Savage at gunpoint to row towards Norway. Meanwhile, back at base, General Crowe instructs Harvey to launch another attack on Trondheim. The tension mounts as Savage and Dieter engage in a psychological standoff regarding their chances of rescue. Stranded on a remote island, Savage ultimately faces the grim necessity of killing Dieter.
