Episode Overview

The Brauberg Dam must be destroyed, and Savage believes a modified P-51 loaded with two 500-pound bombs can accomplish the task. He recruits Paul Stiger, a risk-taking farm boy from Kentucky who eagerly volunteers for special missions. After Stiger wins a £20,000 football pool, he starts to see life differently and falls for his girlfriend Myra, wanting to propose. However, Savage refuses his request. Stiger embarks on the mission and survives, forming a friendship with Crain, who tries to support him through the challenges ahead.
