Episode Overview
General Crowe anxiously awaits Savage’s return from a mission and is surprised to see an ambulance awaiting the landing of the "High Flyer." To his astonishment, a charming girl in a hula skirt greets the crew. Curious, Crowe asks Savage about it, who explains that he just sanctioned the marriage of a gunner, nicknamed "Pineapple," to an English woman named Dorothy Hall. Crowe then takes Savage to his hotel to introduce him to Nicole Trouchard, a leader of the resistance. Crowe plans for the 918th to bomb two key targets: the Rouen marshalling yards and a Gestapo building, hoping to strengthen ties with the resistance. He reveals his past romance with Nicole and stresses the importance of their support for downed pilots, although Savage expresses concerns about the potential casualties on the second mission.
