Episode Overview

A determined U.S. Marshal from California takes Dave Walker, a hand from the Ponderosa, into custody for murder, prompting Adam and Hoss to accompany them to ensure their friend makes it to Los Angeles safely. In one memorable moment, Adam dons black attire for the first time. Meanwhile, Hoss, upon witnessing Southern California for the first time, quips, "It sure ain't never gonna amount to much." Later on, Adam lightheartedly recalls the less-than-appetizing meals that Joe claimed he had to endure during "The Last Hunt."
