In a tense elimination round, four chefs must prove their culinary skills before judges Monica and Gregg to secure a chance to cook for Michel. They kick off with a challenging skills test that involves opening scallops, followed by a palate test where they create a potato rosti. From the remaining three chefs, two additional demanding challenges await them as they impress Michel and Gregg. First, they must whip up two dishes featuring smoked eel within a strict 50-minute timeframe. Next, they tackle the task of recreating the classic dishes of beef bourguignon and a lemon tart.
