As Christmas approaches, Meg (Brittany Snow) and her dance partner Jimmy Riley (guest star Jesse Hutch) are celebrated as one of "Bandstand's" top couples, leading to a mistletoe moment that complicates her growing feelings for Luke (guest star Jamie Elman). Meanwhile, JJ (Will Estes) is thrilled to receive an acceptance letter from the University of Notre Dame, prompting him to reconsider his breakup with his long-term girlfriend, Beth (Rachel Boston). Additionally, Jack (Tom Verica) is called to use his military skills when a local boy in Vietnam goes missing, and Henry (Jonathan Adams) seeks a raise during the busy holiday season.
