Episode Overview

After Bart neglects to hand in his homework, Mrs. Krabappel sends a note home addressing his behavior. Bart tries desperately to snatch it before Homer sees it, but his plan fails. Homer discovers the letter and, alongside Marge, heads to Principal Skinner for a parent-teacher meeting. Enraged, Homer imposes strict punishment, while Marge opts for a gentler response. Sensing an opportunity, Bart cleverly begins to manipulate the situation by playing his parents off one another, pushing his devious plotting to new levels.
