Episode Overview
The remaining teams are sent on a flight from Fortaleza, Brazil, to La Paz, Bolivia, where tension rises between two rival teams at the Pit Stop. After a 1,200-mile journey, they arrive at an altitude of over 12,000 feet, making it difficult for some racers to adjust to the thin air. The teams set up camp near a local statue before diving into a newspaper delivery task, searching for a clue that directs them to the Narvaez Hat Shop in Plaza Mario to buy a traditional cholita hat for their next hint. This clue leads them to a Detour, presenting a choice between a challenging but manageable task or one that is likely to exhaust the less physically fit teams. After completing their chosen task, the teams take a taxi eight miles to Los Titanes del Ring, where a Roadblock pits one team member against a female wrestler. Many struggle with this challenge, but one team’s elimination stems not from their performance but from misreading the clue's instructions
