Episode Overview

DCI Burnside is called to look into a murder that appears to be linked to a series of rapes targeting men. One of the earlier victims, Andy Wilson, recalls a detail about an angel during his assault. After a taxi driver named Steve Sanderson gives a statement, DC Holmes checks CCTV footage and identifies a man matching Sanderson’s description: Mark Angelis, who works for a courier service featuring an angel logo. Although DS Boulton arrests Angelis with a knife, he claims it was for self-defense against the rapist. Meanwhile, DS Stanton consults a profiler at Scotland Yard and learns that Sanderson has made a similar report at Stafford Row station. When Stanton and Proctor visit Sanderson's wife, they uncover evidence pointing to him as the perpetrator. As they rush to inform Burnside, they realize he’s riding in Sanderson’s cab.
