Episode Overview

A police officer from Barton Street is stabbed while chasing two robbery suspects into Sun Hill. Around the same time, a young black man named Mark Okin is discovered unconscious and beaten. Carver takes on the role of Family Liaison Officer for the Okin family, but as CID delves deeper, they reveal Mark's involvement in the attack on PC Brennan. Carver is appalled when Daly instructs him to leverage his trust with the family to gather evidence against Mark. Meanwhile, suspicion shifts to John Wilson, Amy’s boyfriend, who is believed to have committed the robbery, attacked PC Brennan, and assaulted Mark for not taking the blame.
