Episode Overview

Viv and Ken visit an army surplus shop that appears to be stocked from questionable sources. The delivery van, stolen from Yorkshire, raises suspicions. Two redcaps arrive to gather soldiers and Cryer doubts their legitimacy. He also seeks someone for a personal assistant role at a nearby school and asks Ken to grab a flying jacket. Meanwhile, an ice-cream van and a car create a traffic jam near the station. Roach dispatches a traffic warden to manage the situation, while Hollis is also sent to help. After a detour, Hollis returns only to find a funeral procession has added to the congestion.
