The Bill (1984)

Episode Overview

D.C. Dashwood and D.C. Carver are stationed on a street plagued by a series of burglaries. They spot a young man, Kevin Boswell, scaling a wall while carrying a bag filled with 50p coins, leading to his arrest for theft. They also bring in Kevin's girlfriend, Daphne, after discovering what appears to be stolen items in her home. Dashwood is convinced Boswell is the culprit, but tensions rise when W.P.C. Ackland files a complaint against him for being too aggressive during the interrogation. Boswell’s intelligence remains questionable—he could be cunning or simply deluded about his criminal exploits. Dashwood and Carver decide to investigate Boswell's apartment further to uncover more.
