Episode Overview
D.I. Burnside orchestrates a raid on a hotel room, aiming to apprehend a suspect linked to armed abduction. However, thanks to Ramsey’s inaccurate intel, they storm the wrong room. The occupant threatens to file a complaint against Burnside, prompting him to task Ramsey with uncovering some dirt on the man. They discover he’s a doctor entangled in an affair with a patient. Excited, Burnside heads to inform the doctor about dropping the complaint, only to realize they misjudged the situation once more. Meanwhile, Sgt. Cryer is en route to court to support his son, Patrick. During this time, a girl approaches him, claiming that Bob found her as a baby 15 years prior. Patrick’s case is dismissed in court, leading the deceased girl’s father to accuse Cryer of a police cover-up. Annoyed, Cryer dismisses the girl, Bobbi, but later learns that she has been reported missing.
