Episode Overview

P.C. Ramsey returns to duty and teams up with P.C. Haynes to investigate a shoplifter who insists she's innocent. While they're in the back of the store, armed robbers burst in and shoot at Ramsey. D.I. Burnside suspects a connection to other recent heists and sends D.C. Carver to confront his elusive informant, Leroy. Meanwhile, D.C. Dashwood's new suit becomes a source of amusement for his colleagues, but it gets ruined during a chase after one of the robbery suspects. Haynes later follows the remaining suspects, leading to their crash into a milk float. W.P.C. Ackland and P.C. Melvin are approached by a man worried that his friend might attempt suicide in a gay club's restroom, resulting in the friend's arrest for carrying a weapon. While being processed, he punches Sgt. Peters, causing a knife to fall, but Ackland intervenes before he can grab it.
