Episode Overview
D.C. Dashwood launches an investigation after a newly listed house is burglarized. He suspects that some potential buyers may be involved and gathers a description of a couple who recently viewed the property from the real estate agents. It turns out they are connected to D.I. Burnside, as they are relaying information about the house to their son, who later breaks in. Meanwhile, Sgt. Cryer chases down a mugger and takes the victim back to her apartment, only to discover it appears to have been ransacked. The culprit is revealed to be her son, who has been mistreating her for quite some time. Cryer initially warns the boy but ends up arresting him when he catches him attacking his mother. P.C. Ramsey is eager to apprehend a disqualified driver. While Cryer suggests marking the footpath, Ramsey finds more success by placing a stone under the vehicle's wheel.
