Episode Overview
On their journey to May's upcoming Pokémon Contest, Ash and his friends stop at a nearby island to catch a ferry. They release their Pokémon for some fun, but Donphan's playful antics attract the attention of some Rhyhorn, leading to a chaotic chase by their protective parents. Fortunately, Nurse Joy and her Meganium come to the rescue. However, Grovyle soon finds itself in a fierce battle with a wild Tropius and ends up on the losing side. After Meganium heals Grovyle, it develops a crush on her, only to discover that Tropius has feelings for her too. Determined to win her affection, Grovyle challenges Tropius to a rematch.
