Title: Episode 2 Plot: The Maguire family is in full swing for baby Connor's christening, orchestrated entirely by Mimi. In a surprising move, she shifts the godmother role, leaving the former godmother Kelly heartbroken. Shane finds himself torn between Kelly's desire for validation and his mother's quest for dignity. Kelly insists he must sever ties with his mother if their relationship is to survive. Meanwhile, Paddy's attempts to join the festivities are thwarted by his financial woes. Desperate to mend his family ties, he tries to recruit Shane and Jamie for his business scheme, but they decline, leaving enthusiastic Mickey feeling ignored. As Paddy sinks deeper into despair, a misstep forces Mickey to step in and help him. In a moment of vulnerability, Paddy uses the christening as an opportunity for personal redemption in front of his shocked family.
