Karen's relentless quest to prove she’s more than just a mother has Jamie feeling anxious. While her trampoline workouts and baton-twirling majorettes keep her physique in top shape, her mental state is becoming precarious, forcing the Maguires to step in. Meanwhile, Liam's quest for true love hits a snag as he gets caught in his own deceptions. His efforts to hide his Chatsworth life fall apart when Frank gets called to the school. Maxine faces a major dilemma just when she needs Carl the most, only to find him drowning his sorrows. She seeks comfort from Ian. Over on Chatsworth, Yvonne struggles with debt as Paddy comes to collect, while the Karibs devise a plan that puts the shop under new ownership, leaving Paddy furious and Chesney ready to start anew. Lastly, Mickey looks for a plumber to tackle his long-neglected pipes.
