Mimi starts dating Billy, the star striker of the Jockey football team, but her joy is fleeting when she realizes he isn’t who she believed him to be. When Billy attempts to blackmail her into staying in the relationship, Mimi decides it’s time to give him a lesson he won’t forget. Meanwhile, Shane and Kelly encourage Paddy to dive back into dating, but he turns down their suggestion. Undeterred, Shane organizes a night out for Paddy. At the club, Paddy’s cringe-worthy 'Saturday Night Fever' dance sends his sons running for cover. Feeling humiliated, he heads home, where he discovers a chance to propose. In another storyline, Frank finds himself temporarily blinded by bootleg vodka. Ignoring the doctor’s advice to detox, the family seizes the opportunity to turn his flaws into advantages. Joe steps in as the new shop manager and strikes a side deal with Shane to boost profits.
