Episode Overview

The Blue Thunder team rescues a witness—also a confidential secretary—from a secluded estate where she’d been held hostage. Her testimony helped convict her corrupt financier boss, Richard J. Lassiter, who got 25 years for fraud, extortion, and intimidation. He’s set for transfer to Greenlake Penitentiary, a medium-security prison upstate. Braddock has a gut feeling Lassiter’s associates will try to bust him out during the motorcade. He warns Chaney to steer clear, but Chaney ignores him. Good thing—because if he hadn’t shown up, Lassiter would have escaped.
