The Darling Buds of May (1991)

Episode Overview

The entire family heads off on a vacation to France, but their trip begins on the wrong foot. Things take an unexpected turn when their car is spotted with a crest, leading everyone to believe they belong to the nobility. Mademoiselle Dupont, the owner of their pension, addresses Pop as "Milord" and offers him and Ma her own bedroom. Even the typically grumpy receptionist shows them respect. Meanwhile, Primrose, the second eldest daughter, finds herself smitten with a local boy named Marc-Antoine, much to Charley’s dismay as he watches his wife flirt with scantily clad French men on the beach.
