Episode Overview

Maxine dedicates herself more than ever to the Pamela Taylor case, helping an attorney locate other abused teens to join the class action against Buckley Hills. When a social worker appears in Amy's courtroom with a dismissive attitude and fails to submit required reports, Amy cites her for contempt and has her arrested after learning the social worker doesn’t even know where the child is. Later at dinner, Maxine passionately criticizes Amy's decision, suggesting she’s misplacing her own frustrations about Maxine's health onto an already struggling social worker. Acknowledging her daughter’s point, Amy arranges for the social worker's release. Meanwhile, Donna encourages Kyle to return to his medical studies, recognizing his regret over not finishing his training. Amy also oversees the sentencing of two young offenders.
