Episode Overview
Back in Hartford after a short escape to Maui, Amy finds herself grappling with returning a room filled with wedding gifts, as well as navigating the unsolicited advice from friends and family about her chaotic life. She's also trying to get in touch with her ex-fiancé, who is avoiding her calls. Meanwhile, Kyle is reluctantly tasked with firing a nurse but ends up facing a lawsuit due to his mismanagement of the situation. Realizing her new job isn't the right fit, Amy heads back to juvenile court to oversee a case involving warring teens influenced by their mothers. Maxine struggles to support a teenager upset about being taken from an abusive foster home, while Donna keeps interrupting Bruce as he tries to explain his absence from Amy's wedding.
