Episode Overview
At the construction site, Grace senses the tension from her co-worker Derrick, who envies her position. After requesting more responsibilities from D.C., Grace is caught off guard when her former friend Vic, desperate for work, arrives seeking a job. Despite knowing Vic's reputation for laziness, she feels compassion and offers him the position, cautioning him not to disappoint her. Unfortunately, Vic quickly begins to underperform, much to Derrick's delight. D.C. warns Grace that if Vic doesn't improve, their jobs are at risk. When he spots Vic on a scaffold without a safety harness, Grace, who struggles with vertigo, reluctantly climbs up to bring him down. As she instructs him to wear a harness, Vic falls, leading to a frantic rush to the emergency room.
