Episode Overview
As lawyer Robert Waverly exits his mistress's apartment with his video camera, he stumbles upon MacLeod engaged in a fierce battle with a malevolent Immortal. Eager to capture the moment, Waverly records the fight, the death, and the ensuing Quickening. He then approaches MacLeod with a sinister proposition: if MacLeod eliminates Waverly's wife, he won't report the incident to the authorities. When Kurlow, the partner of the slain Immortal, seeks revenge on MacLeod, Waverly suggests a twisted arrangement reminiscent of "Strangers on a Train"—he'll take out Kurlow while MacLeod handles his wife. However, the plan backfires when Kurlow easily defeats Waverly, leaving MacLeod to rescue Waverly's wife and confront Kurlow.
