Episode Overview

David Keogh, an immortal craftsman with a troubled past as an indentured servant, longs to marry his beloved, Jill. However, Jill has withdrawn from him, unable to cope with the revelation of his immortality. Desperate to end Keogh's relentless pursuit, she turns to MacLeod, whom Keogh holds in high regard and might listen to. Yet, Keogh remains steadfast, believing their bond is mutual. Flashbacks reveal a time when MacLeod himself was consumed by unrequited love. Tragedy strikes when Jill dies in an accident while escaping from Keogh, leading him to blame MacLeod and vow revenge.
