Episode Overview

Josef Varsh devises a scheme to frame an American on fabricated charges, aiming to undermine the West and elevate his own status. Rollin, posing as Dan, connects with a woman who betrayed her boyfriend, a Western spy. Simultaneously, Briggs is with the Deputy Minister, a reform-minded adversary of Varsh. In a clever move, Rollin-as-Briggs leaves behind incriminating evidence, leading to the arrest of the real Briggs. Kudnov, aware of Dan’s innocence, urges Varsh to release Briggs, but Varsh retaliates with an order for Kudnov’s assassination. The IMF team then orchestrates the Deputy Minister's disappearance, planning to bring him and the girlfriend to court to expose Varsh’s deceit.
