Sefra, a former prison guard, has acquired cesium 138, a volatile substance that detonates above 70 degrees. He intends to sell this dangerous material along with the formula from the defunct prison where he worked. To infiltrate his operation, Rollin and Barney pose as a photographer and model. Sefra mistakenly believes Barney is a vengeful ex-inmate. As tensions rise, the team stages a generator failure while Sefra attacks Barney, causing the cesium to heat up. They move the cesium to a nearby hospital freezer, allowing the IMF to swap it out. When Sefra realizes the jar is missing, he coerces Barney into revealing a supposed escape route. However, as Sefra attempts to flee, the IMF activates a remote-controlled mini-tank carrying the cesium, which detonates and eliminates Sefra, ensuring the formula and sample remain secure.
