Mission: Impossible (1966)
S01E26 A Cube of Sugar
Episode Overview
Vincent Deane, a jazz musician and covert U.S. intelligence agent, finds himself captured and imprisoned after memorizing the plans for a vital microcircuit code. The IMF steps in to rescue him. His captor, Brobin, has resorted to drugging Deane to break his will, unaware that the microchip is hidden within some sugar cubes he possesses. Cinnamon poses as Deane's wife and frames Rollin as an enemy agent, leading to Rollin's capture. However, he manages to break free and sabotages Deane's drugs, sending him into a coma. Briggs impersonates a U.S. official, prompting Brobin to cremate Deane's body to avoid an autopsy. Meanwhile, Barney and Willy switch the "deceased" Deane. Rollin then offers to reveal the chip's location, knocks out Brobin, and escapes with the help of cleverly crafted masks.
