Mobster Frank Egan abducts the daughter of one of Dan's friends, leveraging her as a hostage to compel Dan and his team to liberate a crucial witness against him, Augie Gorman. After several unsuccessful attempts, Barney successfully taints Gorman's water in the police-protected hotel safehouse. The team takes control of a hospital room, utilizing a rotating examination table to swap Gorman with IMF member Steve, who bears a striking resemblance to him.
