Rollin and Cinnamon set out on their own to retrieve a reel of recording wire that holds critical information about a chemical warfare initiative targeting the U.S. After the courier carrying the wire is killed by enemy forces, the duo devises a plan, pretending to be lovers reuniting. During a recorded conversation, Rollin discreetly slips away. To mirror the courier's fatal encounter, he allows himself to be spotted and chased along the same path. He discovers the wire cleverly concealed within a fence. Although they plan to smuggle it out discreetly, a young boy mistaking it for fishing line snatches it away. Rollin successfully retrieves the wire, and they send it off disguised as a balloon's string.
