Episode Overview
Two scientists and their spouses find themselves in the clutches of enemy agent Eric Stavak. With only two of them captured, Stavak threatens their lives unless he secures a third scientist, who holds the key to an "ultimate weapon" project. To infiltrate the situation, Phelps and Cinnamon impersonate the missing scientist and his wife, allowing themselves to be captured as well. Phelps predicts an impending earthquake, prompting the IMF team to stage a fake disaster. While tunneling through a storm drain for an escape, Phelps is pushed aside by Stavak and his goons. Ultimately, as Jim leads the group out of a functioning elevator, Stavak and his crew are apprehended on a seemingly untouched San Francisco street.
