Episode Overview

Alfred Belzig, a bank director in the "East Zone," exploits those attempting to flee to the West by taking their money and eliminating them, all while pocketing the cash. With his ill-gotten gains totaling $3 million, he aims to fund a new Nazi party. Rollin goes undercover as an escapee, but Belzig kills him after taking his money, leading the team to trace the funds to a safe deposit box. Barney and guest member Paul Lebarre, a former bank robber, orchestrate a heist at Belzig’s bank to steal just that box. Willy, masquerading as a policeman, "arrests" them, allowing their escape just as the real police arrive. Belzig, anxious to avoid incrimination, attempts to flee but ends up thwarted.
