Episode Overview
Dr. Oswald Beck, a scientist working for an enemy faction, has engineered a deadly strain of bacteria that leads to cerebral spinal meningitis and becomes harmless after a few hours. The IMF is tasked with eliminating the initial culture and stopping Beck. Rollin takes the place of a test subject for the bacteria, while Barney swaps the bacteria container with one filled with knockout gas and captures the gas in a balloon. Although Rollin pretends to die, Jim, posing as a military medic, later reveals that he’s still alive. Meanwhile, Barney releases the gas in the control room, incapacitating Beck's superiors. Mistakenly believing they’re succumbing to his bacteria, Beck fears being labeled a traitor and escapes, but is shot as Jim destroys the bacteria.
