Episode Overview
Gangster Constantine Victor, known as "Mr. V," has eliminated the last witness against him in a murder case. Johnny Costa, a casino owner and Victor's associate, holds the key evidence needed to convict him. The IMF devises a plan to persuade Costa to cooperate. Phelps poses as a hitman, warning Costa that there's a contract out on his life. Meanwhile, Cinnamon uses her charm to get Costa to sign minor credit slips, which the IMF then forges into larger amounts. Rollin, acting as Costa's bookkeeper, discovers a hidden $25,000 planted by Barney along with the forged slips. A pre-recorded call from "Victor," imitated by Rollin, leads to Costa being dismissed from his position. When Costa confronts Cinnamon and learns she's working for Victor, he panics and locks himself in the casino vault to safeguard himself until he can testify against Victor.
