Orin Kerr, the head of a powerful syndicate, oversees the casinos, and the IMF aims to gather incriminating evidence against him for the state legislature. His boss is suspicious of Kerr's lavish lifestyle, prompting syndicate member Cameron to plant a listening device in Kerr's office, which the IMF manages to tap into. They set up fake conversations that paint Kerr in a negative light, leading Cameron to overhear a discussion between Casey and Kerr about a vault heist. Jim, appearing with a history of a similar robbery from twelve years ago, adds to the intrigue. Meanwhile, Barney successfully extracts money from the supposedly secure vault. Mistakenly thinking he can recover stolen funds from Jim's past heist, Kerr trails Jim to the hidden stash, only to discover it’s his own money. When Cameron confronts him about the cash, an astonished Barney steps in, and Kerr ends up running straight into the police, where he is compelled to testify against the syndicate in exchange for
