Mission: Impossible (1966)

Episode Overview

With just 16 hours on the clock, the IMF races to locate a nuclear bomb hidden by extortionist Dr. Cooper in one of seven cities along the Pacific Coast, while also tracking down his team responsible for disarming it. The IMF manages to trace Cooper to a café, where they stage a fake radio announcement claiming his demands will be fulfilled. In a bold move, Jim and Mimi pose as convicts to capture Cooper and his crew. They allow Cooper to contact his associate Rogers to deactivate the bomb, but chaos ensues when Cooper's wife, Adele, kills Rogers out of fear. After the news of Rogers' death goes public, a desperate Cooper persuades Jim and Mimi to guide him to the bomb, located beneath City Hall, where he successfully disarms it with mere seconds to spare. The IMF then takes him into custody.
