Episode Overview

In this episode, the ALDC travels to Shenandoah Valley, VA, but with Maddie busy filming a guest spot on Ellen, Abby acknowledges that her star dancer's rising career means she needs a replacement who can shine in Maddie's absence. She sets Chloe, Nia, and Kendall against each other in a competition featuring character-focused solos. Meanwhile, Christy's jealousy threatens to put her daughter Sarah's position on the team at serious risk.
