Episode Overview

Liam Cadegan is employed at ApexOne Technologies, a cutting-edge firm that has recently undergone a merger. Although Liam feels relatively secure in his position and is deeply committed to his family, he begins to feel the growing anxiety of his coworkers in the tense atmosphere following the merger. During a video conference, Harlow introduces Monica as the new vice president of community relations, who proposes they partner with the Special Olympics and offers to set up a meeting with her contact Andrew this weekend. Liam, whose son is participating in the Special Olympics, supports the idea. However, Harlow dismisses Monica's suggestion in favor of a corporate retreat he has planned for that same weekend. Sensing the underlying competition, Liam's colleague Josh Whitman warns him to brace for a cutthroat showdown.
