Episode Overview
Seventeen-year-old Jason Harris appears to have everything a teenager could want: a supportive family, a stunning girlfriend, and dreams of becoming a photojournalist. His father, Will Harris, a well-known ophthalmologist, has been pushing Jason to keep an eye on an old injury that caused detached retinas. Monica is brought in to help the family cope with a hidden issue and ends up working with Jason at a local photography shop. Recognizing his talent, she offers to connect him with her friend Andrew, a photographer at the Denver Daily Herald. During their meeting, Jason suggests featuring his father for a "day in the life" photo series, and Andrew agrees, allowing Jason to take the lead. As he shadows his dad throughout the day, Jason captures a shocking moment: his father kissing his receptionist, Sherri. Returning home, he now carries the weight of this secret with him.
