Star hockey player Jeff McHenry, a senior at the elite St. Crispin's prep school, revels in the advantages his father's wealth brings him. With his team nearing the playoffs and his father's financial backing for Harvard, Jeff's future appears bright. However, his arrogance creates tension with teammate Chase Jennings and stirs up conflict both on and off the ice. When Andrew, his substitute History teacher, attempts to discuss the St. Crispin's Day speech from Shakespeare’s Henry V, it highlights Jeff's lack of humility, a trait essential for leadership. Suddenly, Jeff’s world is turned upside down when a bad investment leaves his father bankrupt, forcing him to transfer to a public school. Although he struggles to adapt to the mixed social dynamics at Eastside High, he finds some comfort in his father's promise that his college tuition remains secure. Jeff dismisses Monica's invitation to join the interim hockey team, struggling to find his place in this new environment.
