Episode Overview
As dawn breaks outside Our Lady of Hope Senior High, the angels observe Sister Theodore entering the school just before 6:00 am, sensing the tension in the air. A loud punk rock tune blasts from a rundown car parked nearby, where seventeen-year-olds John and Cory sit, preparing to commit a grave act. In the backseat lies a box containing ten homemade bombs, intended to detonate at seven o'clock while everyone is at mass next door. Bobby, also seventeen and the mastermind behind the bombs, arrives but is suddenly filled with doubt and decides against the plan. He opts instead to head to Millie’s diner, where he works. Apologizing to Tess, the new manager, for his tardiness, he begins his shift by helping Gloria learn the register. Meanwhile, inside the school, Monica appears to Sister Theodore, revealing the boys' dangerous intentions.
