Episode Overview

As the Carpenter family gathers to support their father, Joe, in his final days at home, the siblings fall into their established roles. Kate, the eldest, steps into a leadership position reminiscent of their mother, Elizabeth, though she doesn’t come off as overly controlling. Chris, the middle sibling, shocks his sisters by revealing his estrangement from his wife. Meanwhile, Kim, the youngest and a creative soul, struggles to find her place among them. The home-care nurse, Monica, and interior decorator, Tess, find themselves caught in the tension as Chris and Kim push back against Kate's authority. An angelic mission aims to unveil a family secret before Joe passes. Andrew warns Monica and Tess that time is running out. In the midst of a fierce argument, Kate reveals that Kim is not actually Joe's biological daughter. After a brief absence, Elizabeth calls a family meeting to confront the situation, disclosing her past affair with Joe’s business partner, which Joe had forgiven.
