Episode Overview
Rock star Jon Mateos seems to have everything: a supportive wife, Evie, a caring teenage daughter, Samantha, and a son, Dylan. However, his life takes a devastating turn when Evie tragically dies in a car accident while rushing from Samantha’s concert to see Jon on TV. Struggling to care for his children and cope with their grief, Jon throws himself into his work, but soon spirals into substance abuse. His driver, Monica, witnesses his decline as he tries to record a new song, 'Nowhere.' Meanwhile, Samantha sneaks out with friends to a concert, but they end up at a motel party. Frightened, she escapes and tries to reach her dad, who is too impaired to respond. Ultimately, she ends up hitching a ride with a trucker, who eerily brings them to the same place where her mother passed away.
