Episode Overview
After years apart since high school, Vinton reconnects with Naomi Oates, the neighbor next door to Mama. They quickly grow close, and Vint reveals that he had a crush on her back in the day. One night, after a late outing at the Bigger Jigger, they head to the basement to check out Vint’s impressive collection of TV Guides spanning 25 years. Naomi fondly comments on Mr. Ed, her favorite show. The next morning, as Mama and Fran enjoy breakfast, Naomi tries to slip away unnoticed but gets caught. Mama is furious and confronts Vint. Meanwhile, Naomi, who has just sold her house, invites Vint to join her in Arizona to manage a trailer park, which requires a couple. He agrees and announces their plans to marry and move, leaving Mama stunned but offering to host the wedding at her home.
