Episode Overview

Mike heads to Soda Springs to tackle an influenza outbreak, leaving Sully to look after the kids. Sully takes on the role of "Mr. Mom," but the children soon grow restless. While exploring caves with Brian, Sully gets shot while trying to mediate between the Indians and the cavalry. When the dust settles, Brian can't find him and rushes to town for assistance. The Reverend helps the kids hide Sully, who now has a bounty on his head. They take him to a cave for protection. Colleen seeks the Reverend's aid to fetch supplies from the clinic, but Hank and Jake spot them and knock the Reverend out. Colleen has to remove the bullet, relying on Jake to help save Sully. When they finally return to town, the Cavalry attempts to arrest Sully for sabotaging the railroad, but the townspeople come together to provide him with an alibi, preventing his capture.
