Episode Overview

Mike's Christmas Eve takes a dark turn, leading him into a personal crisis. During a routine surgery, a patient unexpectedly suffers a heart attack on the operating table, and the man's family unjustly holds Mike responsible for the tragedy. Meanwhile, the Cooper children argue at home, adding to the tension. As Mike, Sully, and the kids prepare to head to the town's Christmas Eve celebration, Robert E arrives with a request for Mike to help a couple in labor who have fled their families. With their fathers hot on their trail, Robert E offers his stable as a safe place for the delivery, forcing Mike to miss the holiday gathering.
