Episode Overview

A quirky circus, led by the mother-daughter duo Heart and Atlantis, arrives in Colorado Springs. Heart rallies the locals to join as performers, and while most are eager, Mike hesitates when Heart suggests she try trapeze. At home, Colleen confides her fear of performing, while Brian asks Sully if he would take the trapeze spot for Heart. Sully proposes a deal to Mike: he’ll perform if she does. Mike agrees to step up if Colleen does too, and Colleen reluctantly takes on the challenge. Heart recruits the Reverend as a magician, with Miss Dorothy as his glamorous assistant, while Brian and Loren take on clown roles. Colleen, Atlantis, and Matthew team up for a tightrope act, with Jake as the ring announcer. The town enthusiastically embraces their circus roles, but tensions arise between Mike and Heart when Mike learns that Heart's daughter, Atlantis, has webbed fingers.
